Today we had an exclusive chance to interview the rapper:

What is your legal name and age?
My real name is Terrence and I am 27 years old.

What is your stage name and how did you come up with it?
When I went to Christ the King High School, my Italian teacher said there was no translation for the name Terrence. So she made up the name Terrencioo and I actual liked it a lot. It was fun to speak Italian even though I wasn’t very good, but I definitely embraced that name the more I was forced to use it in class.

Where are you from?
I am from Queens, NY and I grew up in Lefrak City Queens in Corona. I literally grew up around one of the most diverse places on the planet being near rego park and Elmhurst Queens.

Have you heard the theory that some musicians write their best music while they’re depressed or going through a bad time?
Yes I heard of this Theory before. I think there is some truth behind it, but at the same time I don’t believe so. I feel the best music is created when it is tied into your emotion. But if you are happy, free, in love, filled with hate, no matter how you feel I believe there is a way to translate that into music. Different people gravitate towards different artist and songs, because at that moment its the most relatable thing.

What’s the best advice you ever received?
Put the same energy you put into others into yourself. Its ok to help your friends and it has to be ok to do whats best for you sometimes too.

What’s your latest release?
The next Single that I have coming out is a track called “Glitching” which features Matt Ox, Marty Baller & Prvnci. The producers on the beat for this track were Bendi & Jackson aka Jack the Ripper.
