Blessed with the gift to cross genres, Samie Bower is a hit maker breaking the barriers of what many thought impossible.

Home to New Jersey, artist Samie Bower has been building a musical empire from the ground up and slowly taking over music’s landscape. Growing up, Bower was surrounded by the electric voice of Michael Jackson through his mother who would listen to the artist on a constant rotation. This turned out to influence Bower’s direction in music from an early age. As he continued to train his ear for music, he would discover other influential acts like T-Pain, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Tory Lanez, H.E.R., All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids, and Panic! At The Disco. It was evident that Bower wasn’t one to be boxed into one particular category but hold the creativity to blend sounds across genres. As he perfected his craft in times to come, he would achieve his own style that drew fans to his cause.

Bower has grown to become what is known as a rarity in the music world. Few are able to create a masterpiece from anything they touch, but Bower makes it look effortless. Mastering music over a number of genres, Bower is an alternative/melodic R&B artist and songwriter, that also makes music in R&B, Hiphop, and Pop. While he can transition fluently across all these, he is an artist guided by what he feels. When deep in emotions, R&B is his outlet, while feeling excited he expresses himself through upbeat-pop. Of all these, Bower holds a deep connection with R&B, as to him, it’s the rawest form of music allowing the artists to connect with parts of themselves that is their unadulterated truth.

Bower is an artist spilling more than simply words over a track. Each rendition comes from a place of self-experience, whether from his relationships and stories in his home New Jersey, to life. Bower pours a piece of himself within every track. His music is like a trance that takes the listener to a world where emotions rule and feelings are free to be. This passion and depth in music has brought Bower recognition and accomplishments sort by many trying to break into music’s spotlight. His accolades are as extensive as a veteran in the game and his best is still emerging. Bower has been featured on a number of high-end playlists such as Spotify’s editorial playlists Fresh Finds: Pop, New Era: Hip-Hop, along with 300K listener list Beats & Rhymes.

Having worked with notable creatives in the music industry, Bower has built a solid foundation for his career and have nurtured professional connections that continue to propel him further to his musical endeavors. From working with Grammy Award Winning engineer Randy Merrill on his first demo “So Much” in 2015, to working with and featuring Award-Winning songwriter Mickey Shiloh on his sophomore al-bum “New To You” in 2018.  The project was also released under Shiloh’s label “BDRM Records” where Bower has since been the only other artist under BDRM Records besides Shiloh herself. Bower however linked to a list of stacked creatives, hasn’t stopped just there. He has also worked with Grammy nominated engineer Lorenzo Cardona, alongside artists like Blackbear and Post Malone and has been featured on DJ Lilman’s “Party” anthem in 2017. These milestones have been the catalyst for further solidifying Bower’s position in the industry. It has brought him opportunities that opened doors to Hiphop/R&B influenced compilations such as Love & Hip Hop DJ Drewski’s “The MVMT: Dirty Jerz” mixtape in collaboration with DJ TrizzyTrip early 2018.

Bower has continued to supply fans with quality music that has set the standard for his releases at a high bar. Some of his music that has been doing big numbers on streaming platforms include hot singles “Blame,” “Play Me,” “Freak,” and “F.T.H.” His self-published, independent album “If You Insist” released on May 12, 2017 was well received by the masses, obtaining more than 500,000 streams by the end of the year. To date Bower has accumulated millions of streams collectively across platforms like Jamendo, Youtube, Spotify, Soundcloud, Apple, Pandora, and Shazam.

Bower’s success has by no means been by chance or by ease. He has experienced the highs of college, to the fall off, living home-less in LA for over a year. His dedication and grind to become greatness has kept him on the path to stardom. His work ethic is unparalleled, releasing a slew of other singles and projects like “Skyline,” “Don’t Bother Us” featuring Suzi & Baer, “Surreal Intentions,” and “Pop N’ Trap Type Beats.” His resume seems never ending and his talent is evergreen. Bower intends to stay on track to becoming a household name in the music industry, with dreams of sharing a stage with T-Pain and performing at SXSW and the BET awards.

Bower is plotting new projects, vlogs, and creative material behind the scenes, but has a special upcoming release in the form of his newest single “Newport” arriving with a music video on October 30th 2020. It will be released under Heart Songs Records and reflect vibes similar to that of top charting artists Bryson Tiller, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber. Newport aims to cement Bower as the new age of R&B and certainly has the sound to make it possible. It is a track that will surely resonate with any listening to its catchy melodies and deep lyricism.

Bower has become a star shining his light upon a new generation. He continues to elevate his craft, dabbling in producing and learning more about the back end of the music business.
