Born in Houston Texas, Crummy endured a life filled with storms and dark corners. As a child he was left in the care of his grandmother as his parents were lost in the world and unable to care for him. A young Crummy was not yet mature enough to understand his parents’ absence or why his life knew such adversity. His grandmother would do what she could to raise him, but as he became a teenager, his world spiraled even further out of control.
They both would end up staying at Houston shelters like Star of Hope and Bridge Over Troubled Water. His mother was unable to secure a proper paying job, and his abusive father lacked stability. Crummy would jump from house to house, having to see his mother strung out on drugs. His mind was seeing the reality of life, and he vowed within himself to be the change his family desperately needed. Around the age of 15 years old, music would be a highlight in his life through his struggles, becoming a passion for his heart.
School became less of an option by the 9th grade. Crummy wasn’t even allowed on its regular premises due to his reckless actions. Labeled a problem child, he would never finish school and would instead spend time in juvenile detention. As his life endured the dark cloud over his head, his outlet was music. Crummy would pour his pain through rap freestyles, praying this talent could pull his family out of their sinking ship.
With resolve in his heart, Crummy would release his first song in 2020. Without any promo or advertisement of the track, it still did 10,000 views in 2 weeks. This sparked a fire within Crummy, and that fire never stopped burning. To date, he has a total of 10 videos and 50k streams on all platforms with outstanding engagements. Crummy chose to never quit, to fight, and to dedicate himself to put in the work and it paid off. Within a year, he has achieved milestones and envisions being one day signed to a label.
