Exclusive Interview with Young Nino

Today we had an exclusive chance to interview Young Nino:

What is your stage name and how did you come up with it?
My stage name is Young Nino. I actually didn’t come up with it. One of my homeboys did. He would always say, you keep it gangsta and always plotting to take over any and everything. From there I was called Young Nino.

Where are you from?
I’m from the Southside of Atlanta, Ga. It’s a small town called Fairburn. Shout out to everybody on the Southside of the A!

What were your grades like at school?
I had average grades school. Maybe an A or two here and there, but mostly C’s and some B’s. My mind definitely wasn’t on school even though I was there.

How do you currently feel about the state of Hip-hop in general?
Overall I love the state of Hip-hop. With the power of social media and digital streaming platforms, anyone can get hot and make money. Who would want to hate on that? Now, artist can take control of their music and careers by being independent. You just have to be consistent, hustle your music, and market yourself.

Where and how do you work best?
I work best at home away from everyone. I’m able to lock in and be more focused on making songs. From there it’s easy for me to hit up the studio and record a lot of songs.

What’s the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I’ve gotten is, nevermind the haters, keep going and stack your paper.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?
I would describe the music I create as quality reality music. My music is a reflection of things and experiences I’ve been through or seen.

What are you focusing your time on now?
I’m in grind mode, so I’m doing everything right now. I’m all about being consistent, dropping new music and dope content.

What’s your latest release?
I have a song called Goin’ Crazy. It goes hard! The visual to the song is out as well. Go stream it and watch the video.

What would you have done differently if you knew then what you know now?
Everybody ain’t real. Don’t waste time and money on people who don’t want to see you win.
