AllRapNews is committed to accuracy, transparency, and accountability in its hip-hop news coverage, artist features, interviews, music release coverage, and editorial reporting.
This Corrections Policy explains how readers, artists, labels, publicists, and representatives can report possible errors and how AllRapNews reviews, updates, and corrects published content.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
AllRapNews works to publish accurate information based on available facts at the time of publication. Our editorial process may include reviewing official artist statements, label announcements, public social media posts, music platform listings, press releases, public records when relevant, direct communications, and other verifiable sources.
Because hip-hop news and entertainment reporting can develop quickly, some stories may change as new information becomes available. When updates are necessary, AllRapNews may revise published articles to reflect clearer, newer, or more complete information.
How to Report an Error
Readers, artists, managers, publicists, labels, legal representatives, and other parties may contact AllRapNews if they believe an article contains a factual error, outdated information, incorrect attribution, broken media, inaccurate image credit, or misleading context.
To help us review the issue quickly, please include the article title, article URL, the specific statement or section in question, the reason you believe it is inaccurate, and any supporting documentation or official source that helps verify the correction request.
What We Review
AllRapNews reviews correction requests involving factual claims, dates, names, locations, song or album titles, artist credits, legal or public record details, quotes, embedded media, image usage, source attribution, and other information that may affect the accuracy or fairness of a published article.
We also review concerns related to missing context when the absence of that context could materially change how a reader understands the story.
What May Not Require a Correction
Not every disagreement requires a correction. AllRapNews may decline requests based only on opinion, preference, promotional positioning, reputation management, or disagreement with fair commentary, provided the published material is factually supportable and presented in appropriate context.
We may also choose not to remove accurate archived coverage simply because circumstances have changed after publication, although updates or clarifications may be added when appropriate.
How Corrections Are Handled
When AllRapNews confirms that a material factual error has been published, we work to correct the article as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the issue, a correction may include revising inaccurate wording, adding clarifying context, updating a date, correcting a name or title, replacing broken media, updating a source, or adding an editor’s note.
Minor fixes, such as spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links, or typographical errors that do not change the meaning of the article, may be corrected without a formal correction note.
Updates to Developing Stories
For developing stories, AllRapNews may update articles as new verified information becomes available. Updates may include new statements, confirmed release details, additional context, corrected timelines, new public records, or additional responses from involved parties.
When an update significantly changes the article or adds important new information, AllRapNews may add a note indicating that the story has been updated.
Corrections, Clarifications, and Editor’s Notes
A correction is used when a factual error has been identified and fixed. A clarification may be used when the original wording was technically accurate but could have been misunderstood without additional context.
An editor’s note may be added when a story requires a more visible explanation, such as a substantial update, a disputed claim, a corrected attribution, or a change involving legal or sensitive information.
Removal Requests
AllRapNews generally does not remove accurate published content solely because it is no longer favorable to an individual, artist, brand, company, or campaign. However, we review removal requests involving copyright claims, privacy concerns, legal issues, safety concerns, duplicate content, mistaken identity, or information that is proven to be inaccurate.
Requests involving copyright or media ownership should be directed through the appropriate copyright process listed on our DMCA Policy page.
Right of Reply
When appropriate, AllRapNews may offer individuals, artists, labels, managers, publicists, or representatives the opportunity to provide a response, statement, or clarification related to a published story.
Providing a response does not guarantee that an article will be changed or removed, but verified responses may be added to the article when they provide meaningful context for readers.
