Copyright and Content Use

AllRapNews publishes hip-hop news, music coverage, artist features, interviews, and editorial content. Articles may include embedded media, publicly available images, press materials, social media posts, and other content used for informational, reporting, and editorial purposes.

We strive to use content responsibly and provide attribution when appropriate. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes infringement, you may submit a DMCA takedown request as described below.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, you may submit a written DMCA notice requesting removal of allegedly infringing material. Your notice should include the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
2. Identification of the specific content or URL on AllRapNews that you believe is infringing.
3. Your full name, company (if applicable), mailing address, phone number, and email address.

5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Review and Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, AllRapNews will review the request and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also notify the user, contributor, or party responsible for the content about the claim.

If a notice is incomplete or unclear, we may request additional information before taking action.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you submitted or that appears on AllRapNews was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification should include:

1. Identification of the content that was removed or disabled and its location before removal.
2. Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or New York, NY if outside the U.S.) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat Infringers

AllRapNews reserves the right to terminate or restrict access for users or contributors who repeatedly violate copyright laws or submit infringing content.

Good Faith Use

AllRapNews may use excerpts, embedded content, images, or media for purposes such as commentary, reporting, criticism, or news coverage. These uses may qualify as fair use under applicable law. However, all DMCA notices are reviewed carefully regardless of context.

Policy Updates

AllRapNews may update this DMCA Policy as necessary to reflect changes in legal requirements or site operations. The most current version of the policy will always be available on this page.
