Rihanna made a striking appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of the new Smurfs film, walking the blue carpet at Paramount Theater on Sunday, July 13, with her sons RZA and Riot. The singer, who is expecting her third child, wore a brown Saint Laurent dress paired with a matching leather jacket, embracing both comfort and high fashion.
Marking their first public red carpet moments, RZA and Riot wore custom Dior ensembles from Jonathan Anderson’s debut children’s collection for Dior Men. Riot was seen in white shorts and a green blazer with his hair styled in a top knot, while RZA opted for a pink button-up shirt and green cargo pants.
ASAP Rocky previously credited Rihanna for styling their children, telling People magazine that she manages their looks and brings her unique fashion sense to their outfits, a trait he hopes will inspire their individuality and confidence.
The couple reinforced their reputation as style icons at the franchise’s global premiere in Brussels, Belgium, with Rihanna donning a sheer chiffon top and matching skirt, and Rocky in a striped shirt and trousers.
Rihanna, who voices Smurfette in the animated reboot, also contributed an original track, “Friend Of Mine,” to the film’s soundtrack. Smurfs will debut in theaters worldwide on July 18.
