Big Sean Dismisses Claims of Kanye West’s Involvement in Album Leak

The relationship between Big Sean and Ye (formerly Kanye West) has been increasingly strained, marked by public disagreements and speculation. Following Big Sean’s recent freestyle on “On The Radar,” fans began to analyze his lyrics for potential targets. One line, “I got better things to do than find someone to beef with,” initially sparked speculation that it was aimed at Kendrick Lamar. However, DJ Hed clarified that the line was directed at another “Gemini,” which many interpreted as a reference to Ye, who shares that astrological sign and has had a tumultuous relationship with Sean.

Adding to the drama, a fan of Ye leaked an unfinished version of Big Sean’s upcoming album, “Better Me Than You,” as a response to perceived disrespect towards Ye. The leaker expressed disdain for Sean, stating, “Since he wanna disrespect Ye so much, here’s the album” on Reddit. This act has further fueled tensions between the two artists.

In an Instagram Live session, Big Sean addressed the leak and denied that Ye was involved, asserting, “I know he wouldn’t do that because that’s trash.” He emphasized his long-standing loyalty to G.O.O.D. Music, noting that Ye had benefited financially from their collaborations, saying, “He made more money off my music than I did” and alluding to a past claim that Ye owed him over six million dollars.

Despite the ongoing friction, Big Sean is moving forward with his music, releasing a new single titled “YES” from his forthcoming album, which is set to drop on August 9.
