Summer Walker’s New Project on the Horizon

Summer Walker is working on her third studio album, which appears to be on the way. On Sunday, July 7th, the singer shared photos of herself in the studio along with a potential tracklist containing 19 entries, though she did not confirm a title or provide details about the project.

Fans and fellow artists expressed excitement about the prospect of a new Summer Walker album. Baby Tate commented, “I was just thinking yesterday… Like, ‘Damn, I could really use a new Summer Walker album.’ Look at God!” R&B singer Journee also chimed in, pleading, “Please, please, please drop.” Another fan speculated that the album could be titled “Completely Over It.”

However, one commenter noted that so far, Walker has only completed 9 out of the 19 tracks, suggesting fans may have to wait a little longer for the full project.

Walker’s previous album, 2021’s “Still Over It,” was a critical and commercial success, spawning standout tracks like “Toxic” featuring Lil Durk, “No Love” with SZA, and “Ex For A Reason” with a guest verse from City Girls’ JT. The album also featured collaborations with Ari Lennox, Omarion, Pharrell Williams, and Ciara, who provided narration for the outro. Notably, the album’s opening track, “Bitter,” included a narration from Cardi B.

After the release of “Still Over It,” Walker followed up with the 2023 EP “CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE,” which featured guest appearances from J. Cole and Childish Gambino.

With fans eagerly anticipating her next full-length project, it seems Summer Walker is hard at work in the studio, leaving her supporters hopeful for the arrival of her highly anticipated third studio album.
