It’s like clockwork- the fourth episode of Disney + MCU shows such as Loki and Wandavision always have a big reveal or just plain go to hell with all the twists and turns that happen. For the Power Universe, episode 8 is that show where every season, things always unravel and set the stage for the last two mind-blowing installments to come. This episode, titled “Dead Reckoning” did not disappoint in the least and left fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of what Episodes 9 and 10 have in store.
One of the characters who has a lot to say about what is going to happen the last two episodes of Season 2 is Vic. To say he is in hot water with not only Tommy but the Feds led by Stacy Marks is an understatement. As in previous installments, Vic did himself no favors in this episode and made his position even shakier. It will be a minor miracle if Vic is breathing when the dust clears on this season.
The character who had their motivations shift the most in this episode was Diamond. His world had a sledgehammer taken to it and he is the worse for it (another HUGE understatement). The last two episodes of this season are setting up to be nothing short of seismic when it comes to the main players in the criminal landscape of Chicago. Like Walter Flynn before them, more characters appear to be in harm’s way and will not survive the war that is going to spill over into the streets of the Windy City. There is a sense that unknown territory is up ahead and anyone could be the next one to die.
Power Book IV: Force Season 2 is streaming on the STARZ network.

After college, he moved to New York City to break into acting, then back to Virginia to attend professional wrestling school until a couple close calls in the ring sidelined those dreams. That’s when the writing bug bit and bit hard.
