Malu Trevejo is the newest member of Cactus Jack Records.
The 19-year-old Latin sensation, also known as Malu Trevejo, has signed to Travis Scott’s label in partnership with Atlantic Records. She made the big announcement while celebrating her 19th birthday at Delilah in West Hollywood on Friday, where she was joined by friends including Snoop Dogg, O.T. Genasis, and Young M.A.
“Birthday girl I’m so happy dreams come true got signed to @cactusjack and @atlanticrecords,” Malu wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “I’m so happyyyyy Libra gang #myteamisthebest.”
The Cuban-born singer, who performs in Spanish and English, has amassed a large following on social media with over 10 million Instagram followers, thanks in part to the belly-dancing and lip-syncing videos she posted on Musical.ly, now known as TikTok. On her 18th birthday, she launched her popular OnlyFans page.
In September 2017, the Latina artist released her debut single, “Luna Llena,” which has over 115 million views on YouTube. Her first song as a Cactus Jack signee drops Friday, Oct. 22.
She previously revealed that her upcoming album would be in Spanglish. “My mom is Cuban and my dad is from Spain so I grew up listening to Spanish music,” she told PEOPLE in 2017. “I’m into English music, hip-hop or rap.”
Malu joins Travis and the Cactus Jack family, which also includes Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, SoFaygo, and Chase B.
