Travis Scott Drops “Mo City Flexologist” Video, Teases DSPs Release

Travis Scott recently celebrated his fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with DAYS BEFORE RODEO by releasing the music video for “Mo City Flexologist” on September 24. Directed by Kahlil Joseph, the video was filmed in Missouri City, Texas, where Scott grew up.

The track features lyrics reflecting on his past, including lines about summer nights and personal struggles: “Run back them summers I caught through the night, I done dirtied the Sprite, I done crushed up the ice.” Although “Mo City Flexologist” was originally previewed in 2014 and didn’t make the final cut of DAYS BEFORE RODEO, it was included in one of three deluxe editions released in August.

The music video includes nostalgic clips of Scott with his daughter and footage from Hightower High School, showcasing his roots. Following its release, Scott tweeted about making the song available on digital streaming platforms. Other tracks not featured on the original album include “Yeah Yeah” featuring Young Thug and “Whole Lots Changed.”

Scott hinted at a potential tour to promote the re-release but is currently focused on completing the South American and Australian legs of his “UTOPIA: CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR.” Additionally, he released a concert film documenting a special one-night performance in Atlanta.

Josh Peas, Spotify’s head of Hip Hop and R&B Artist Partnerships, praised DAYS BEFORE RODEO as an “era-defining project,” emphasizing its significance as they approach its 10th anniversary and celebrate its streaming release. The concert documentary aims to capture the energy of that pivotal moment in Scott’s career for fans to enjoy for years to come.
