Travis Scott Claps Back at Early Morning Paparazzi in Paris

On Thursday, August 8, Travis Scott was photographed by paparazzi as he left a recording studio in Paris at 5 a.m., and he expressed his frustration with the crowd. “This has to be the weirdest amount of people I’ve ever met in my life,” he remarked, turning his camera toward the onlookers. His manager, David Stromberg, also joined in, turning on his phone’s flash and prompting Scott to address the crowd directly.

Scott questioned one fan about his age, who claimed to be 25, and suggested, “Y’all [are] too grown for this. Go get something. Catch a vibe.” He encouraged the crowd to engage in activities other than following him, saying, “Go to the park. Go to the movies, get some grass, get some sun, go find a girl, [or] get some ice cream! Enjoy yourself. I just made some beautiful music.” He concluded with a dismissive remark about the younger fans, stating, “You’re 16. You’re 14. Y’all n**gas weird as hell,” before getting into a vehicle.

Scott was in Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, where he shared a photo of himself with the Olympic torch on Instagram. His “UTOPIA: CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR” recently wrapped up its U.K. and European leg in July and is set to continue in South America and Australia starting in September.

Additionally, on August 7, it was announced that Scott will headline the 2024 ComplexCon in Las Vegas on November 17, performing alongside artists from his label, Cactus Jack Records, including SoFaygo, Don Toliver, and Sheck Wes. Playboi Carti is also scheduled to perform with his Opium Records roster the night before.
