Soulja Boy Expresses Disappointment in Drake’s Lack of Support from Collaborators

Soulja Boy has weighed in on Drake’s numerous rap beefs, expressing disappointment in Drake’s choice of collaborators. Soulja Boy took to Twitter, criticizing Drake for working with artists like 21 Savage, J. Cole, and possibly Lil Wayne, all of whom served as co-headliners on Drake’s “It’s All A Blur Tour”. Soulja Boy felt that none of these artists had Drake’s back, saying “Doing all them weak a** songs with them [ngas] look where it got [you]. None of them [ngas] you [collaborated] with or took on tour had [your] back.”

On the other hand, Kendrick Lamar has also targeted both J. Cole and Drake in his music, with Lamar firing back at Drake with the track “7 Minute Drill” after being featured on Drake’s “First Person Shooter.” However, Lamar later apologized to Drake during a performance at the 2024 Dreamville Festival, praising Lamar as “one of the greatest motherfkers to ever touch a fkin’ microphone.”

The relationship between Lil Wayne and the Drake-Lamar beef is still unclear, as Wayne was seen altering Lamar’s lyrics and wearing an OVO chain, suggesting some loyalty to Drake. Soulja Boy has also had his own issues with 21 Savage and J. Cole in the past.
