Shaquille O’Neal Apologizes to Drake for Sharing Photoshopped Bikini Picture

Shaquille O’Neal has apologized to Drake for sharing an edited photo of the two of them on a boat, with Drake’s face photoshopped onto a woman wearing a bikini and the song “BBL Drizzy” playing in the background. O’Neal clarified that he thought the meme was funny but did not create it himself.

“Let me apologize real quick. The mistake I made was not saying, ‘Who did this?’ I want Drake to know that Drake has a great sense of humor. I thought it was funny that they did it. I saw people saying, ‘Shaq’s trolling.’ I am not trolling; I didn’t photoshop it; someone else did that,” O’Neal said on his podcast.

The edited photo went viral earlier this week, with some fans criticizing O’Neal for sharing it. However, O’Neal maintains that he meant no disrespect and was simply trying to be humorous, as Drake is known for having a good sense of humor.

The incident comes amid Drake’s ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar, who recently performed several diss tracks aimed at Drake during his “Pop Up” Juneteenth concert in Inglewood, California[2]. Some fans speculate that Drake may have been shading LeBron James, who attended the concert, by posting an Instagram story wearing a Cleveland Guardians jersey.
