Rob49’s new track, “On Dat Money,” featuring Cardi B, was released at midnight on Friday, July 19, along with a vibrant music video showcasing the duo enjoying lavish, cash-filled escapades.
Expressing his excitement about the collaboration, Rob49 stated, “I’ve been grinding hard all summer, and teaming up with Cardi B on ‘On Dat Money’ is something I’m very excited about. Her talent and energy is unmatched, and this record is going to prove I’m not stopping any time soon.”
In her guest verse, Cardi B delivered bold and provocative lines, including references to her confidence and sexuality, while also mentioning icons like Michael Jordan and Chanel.
“On Dat Money” follows a series of recent collaborations for Rob49, including “Homebody” with Moneybagg Yo and “Wassam Baby” featuring Lil Wayne.
Cardi B is also gearing up for her highly anticipated sophomore album, confirming via Twitter on July 18 that it will be released this year. She expressed gratitude for the excitement surrounding the project, stating, “I have my good days and my bad days, but you know what, whether it’s good or bad, I couldn’t be happier with the obvious anticipation for my album.” She reassured fans, “I promise you it’s coming THIS YEAR.”
In addition to her work with Rob49, Cardi B has released two solo singles this year, “Enough (Miami)” and “Like What (Freestyle),” and has appeared on remixes for GloRilla and Flo Milli.
