Ice Spice Surprises Fans at Sexyy Red’s NYC Tour Stop

Despite the ongoing drama among female rappers, Sexyy Red continues to show love and support to her peers. On Tuesday night (Sept. 17), she brought out Ice Spice during her New York show as part of the “Sexyy Red 4 President Tour.”

“New York, what’s up? How are we feeling tonight?” Sexyy Red asked the enthusiastic crowd before launching into a performance of Ice Spice’s hit song “Deli.” Fans were thrilled to see Ice Spice’s iconic afro hairstyle, which she famously wore in the music video for her breakout single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and other public appearances.

Fans expressed their excitement on social media, with one commenting, “Yes, the afro is back finally! I love your hair,” while another with over 1,400 likes remarked, “Oh, Afro Spice is back?” Fellow rapper Omeretta the Great also chimed in, saying, “Look at the crowd. Sexyy is doing her big one!”

The crowd’s reaction has sparked calls for a musical collaboration between Sexyy Red and Ice Spice, with fans eagerly commenting, “Nah, I’ve been waiting for this collab” and “A Sexyy Red and Ice Spice collab would feed families.”

In July, Sexyy Red came to Ice Spice’s defense after online speculation about her weight loss, which many attributed to the use of Ozempic. The Bronx rapper debuted a slimmer figure at Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland, sparking rumors. However, Sexyy Red dismissed the accusations, pointing out, “Y’all act like people can’t be stressed or not eat as much, and she still looks good.”

Ice Spice later addressed the speculation by sharing her fitness routine in a video posted the following month, with the caption, “We beatin’ them allegations, bae,” as she worked out.

The “Sexyy Red 4 President Tour” is set to continue with stops in Philadelphia on Friday (Sept. 20), followed by performances in Tampa, Orlando, Birmingham, and Nashville. Kodak Black has been announced as the co-headliner, while Loe Shimmy, BlakeIANA, and Hunxho are featured as supporting acts.
