Halle Berry is receiving a wave of love as Halloween approaches, with several stars paying homage to her iconic film roles. On October 30, Tyla, Halle Bailey, and Coi Leray unveiled their costumes inspired by Berry’s memorable characters.
Tyla dressed as Sharon Stone from The Flintstones, a role Berry portrayed in the 1994 live-action film. She wore a striking tiger-print skirt set and referenced a famous line from the movie in her caption: “Well, I’ve been a very bad girl, but you have to admit… I was very, very good at it.”
Halle Bailey opted for a costume inspired by Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson from the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day. Her outfit featured an orange bikini paired with a white belt that had a knife holstered in it. Berry praised Bailey’s tribute on her Instagram Story, saying, “You did that. Love you, angel.”
Coi Leray chose to embody Catwoman, a character that has seen various portrayals over the years, but none as impactful as Berry’s version in the 2004 film. Leray shared her excitement on social media, stating simply, “Killed it!”
Bailey previously discussed her admiration for Berry on “LIVE with Kelly and Mark,” revealing that her family has always loved the actress. She shared that her name was inspired by Berry, noting how cool it is to share such a similar name with someone she respects so much.
The two actresses even met earlier this year at an LA Galaxy versus Inter Miami match, where they took photos together for the first time.
