Gunna Embraces Fan’s Stage Invasion During “Fukumean” Performance

At a recent show, Gunna paused his performance of “fukumean” to deal with a fan who climbed onstage. In viral footage, the concert attendee mounts the podium as security narrowly misses him, before being escorted away.

Moments later, Gunna told his DJ to stop the music and called the fan back, saying “Come back! Come back! You gotta do it the right way. I want y’all to drop this s**t once again just for him.” “fukumean” was Gunna’s first song to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 since his release from jail, and the track has over 26 million YouTube views and was RIAA-certified platinum in March.

The situation at this concert turned out better than some of Gunna’s past tour dates, where fans have thrown objects at supporting acts like Flo Milli, leading to abrupt performance endings. Gunna subsequently showed support for Flo Milli, telling fans “No disrespect in any form will be tolerated on tour. Family ties.”

Gunna’s fifth studio album “One of Wun” was released in June, featuring collaborations with artists like Offset, Normani, Roddy Ricch, and Leon Bridges, as well as production from Turbo, Omar Grand, and Teddy Walton. He has also done a number of high-profile features in 2024, including on tracks by IDK, Normani, and Tyla.
