On April 16, Drake continued his relentless trolling of Metro Boomin by sending a drumline to perform outside of Magic City in Atlanta. This followed a series of social media posts, including a deepfake video of Metro’s face replacing Nick Cannon’s in a scene from the 2002 film Drumline.
Drake’s actions were a response to speculation that Metro was involved in leaking a reference track of Drake’s lyrics for the song “Jumbotron St Poppin”.
The feud between the two artists began after Drake dissed Metro Boomin in his leaked track “Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)” and continued with a back-and-forth between Drake and Rick Ross on Instagram.
