Drake Acknowledges Joe Budden and Duke Dennis for His Signature Selfie Pose

Drake has been in a playful mood following the release of his latest singles. On the night of August 28, he took to Instagram to humorously address his notorious mirror selfies, jokingly attributing his signature pose to a “curse from birth” and the influence of what he sees around him. His post included a throwback photo of Joe Budden at the beach and another of internet personality Duke Dennis, who responded with laughter.

In the comments, Drake remarked on Duke’s choice of attire, saying, “Wearing a Fendi head wrap and having someone else take the pic in the mirror is wild.” Duke shot back, pointing out that Drake has a few photos with a similar vibe. The Grammy-winning artist acknowledged this, stating, “I accept my contributions to the mirror face members… We are akin to one another.” While Budden has yet to comment on the exchange, fans are likely to hear about it on his podcast.

Other celebrities joined in the fun, including Ice Spice, Soulja Boy, and Lil Yachty, who suggested adding Ken Carson to the lineup of mirror selfie enthusiasts.

On August 23, Drake released three new tracks: “Circadian Rhythm,” the Playboi Carti collaboration “No Face,” and “SOD.” These singles follow another set of three tracks he dropped earlier in the month.

During a recent episode of the “Joe Budden Podcast,” Budden speculated that Drake might be preparing for a renewed exchange with Kendrick Lamar, suggesting that the situation hasn’t settled well with him and advising Drake to focus on his craft without public promotion.
