Mustard’s fourth studio album, Faith Of A Mustard Seed, is set to release on July 26. Following the earlier singles “Parking Lot,” featuring Travis Scott, and “Pray For Me,” which marked his debut as a rapper, Mustard dropped a third pre-release track titled “One Bad Decision” on July 22. This new song features frequent collaborators Roddy Ricch and Ella Mai, and it samples Wyclef Jean’s “911” with Mary J. Blige, as referenced in Mai’s chorus.
The album will showcase a star-studded tracklist, including guest appearances from artists like Vince Staples, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, Blxst, Future, Kodak Black, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug.
In a recent interview, Mustard revealed that the album’s title was inspired by the late Nipsey Hussle, who suggested it during a studio session. Mustard initially had a different title in mind but felt that Hussle’s suggestion resonated more with the direction of the new project.
Faith Of A Mustard Seed will consist of 14 tracks and is Mustard’s first full-length release since Perfect Ten, which produced the platinum hits “Ballin’” and “Pure Water.” The upcoming album has been highly anticipated, especially after Mustard’s production work on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which became his first No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart.
