Arrest Warrant Issued For Young Dolph Murder Suspect

Less than two months after the fatal shooting of Young Dolph, an arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in connection to his murder.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Justin Johnson has been named as one of the suspects. The 23-year-old is wanted for first-degree murder for allegedly shooting and killing the Memphis rapper on Nov. 17.

Johnson is about 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds and has the name ā€œJaiyaā€ tattooed on his right arm, authorities said Wednesday.

U.S. Marshals, along with Memphis Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, is offering a combined reward of $15,000 for information leading to his arrest. Johnson, who is considered armed and dangerous, has also been added to TBIā€™s ā€œMost Wantedā€ list.

Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., wasĀ killedĀ after two men exited a white Mercedes and fired shots into a Memphis bakery where Dolph was buying cookies. He was 36.
