Rapper, Styyle is turning his rough upbringing into inspiration to become a rising hip hop legend.
Born in Ohio, Crystyle Stockdale aka Styyle, lived most of his life between Alpine and Talladega Alabama. His environment was surrounded by violence and street influences that claimed the lives of many close to him. Music like that of Gucci Mane, not only was a way to cope but was an outlet listening to something relatable to what he was living through. After his lifestyle placed him behind bars, Styyle moved to Lincoln, AL to focus on his music career and distance himself from the violence and depression in the streets of Talladega. Instead of falling victim to his surroundings, he used those experiences to create trap music that painted the struggles and pain but also a gateway for audiences to turn up and dance the stress away.
Over time, Styyle developed his craft and with the support of his mother and brothers Hotboi Ty, Hasko Montana, 901 Zu and 256 Biggz, he turned to music seriously. His break came with his 2019 release “EasyFlo” which gained him respect in his city and led to being signed by Powerseat Music Group. With their backing and belief in his career, Styyle took off. After surpassing 200K streams with his 2020 EP, “4EVRSTR8” he dropped his latest project, “The Devil’s Problem.” The album depicts the next chapter of Styyle’s career, accepting his past demons of stress, women, money, and haters to curate an album that embodies trap music. The 16-track project features his peers Rixh Six, 256 Biggz, Hasko Montana and label mate Hotboi Ty. “The Devil’s Problem” is a merging of everything Styyle has experienced into one timeless project that raps across various genres and themes to give fans something they can ride, cry, dance, turn up, and trap to while having love bangers and tracks that motivate the hustle.
Styyle places his path in God’s hand, and anything else is the Devil’s problem. Follow his socials and stream his new album to know his pain and be inspired by his rise into the hip hop spotlight.
