Streetlord Rook is building up an A-list reputation on the path to becoming an icon in the hip hop and film industry with his new film “One More Flip” and lead soundtrack single “Don’t Trust These Hoes.”
Detroit, Michigan, has another legend to add beside greats like Eminem and rap group Streetlordz. The youngest member of the group, Kwende Ried aka Streetlord Rook has built up a following due to his urban trap music and masterpieces in the film industry. His company, Chedda Boy Films has created a lane for quality films, beginning with its 2000 debut, “Envy” starring Ray J, LisaRaye Mcoy, and Maia Campbell. Going on to drop 4 films total since then, the 5th installment to his career features Detroit stars Sada Baby, Royce da 5’9, Payroll Giovanni and Mena Monroe for the film “One More Flip.” The movie takes place in the streets of Detroit during the height of the opioid crisis and explores the connections between organized crime and gang life in the Detroit hip hop scene. Being involved along with the Streetlordz in a 40-million-dollar marijuana drug conspiracy, Streetlord Rook has firsthand experience to give the story something no one else can.
Streetlord Rook enters honorary status with the film’s October 1st release, with the first ever NFT for film and soundtrack. The hype around the film is already off the Richter, but along with the soundtrack and lead single “Don’t Trust These Hoes” featuring Sada Baby and Payroll Giovanni, it is a complete package of artistic expression. Streetlord Rook along with director Jeffery T. Brown, Co-Writer Stanley Bridges, and Co-Writer/Producer Ronnie Kirk have composed an amazing film for the masses.
With the film’s March 20th premiere at Emagine Royal Oak topping viewership higher than AVENGERS: END GAME, “One More Flip” is worth checking out exclusively on Amazon Prime.
