Nabbing the talented vocalist Quincy for a feature, Booker Forte’ has extended his catalog with the release of his new single, “Iraqi.”
Born in Inglewood, CA, Booker Forte’ grew up in a culture of music and entertainment. His grandfather was the Jazz musician that went by the name, Booker Little, hence the creation of his alias, Booker Forte’. His first passion in the industry was founded in professional dancing, acting as background dancers for mainstream acts like Ciara and Kirk Franklin. His talent would land him the opportunity to dance for Cirque Du Soleil “LOVE,” extending his reputation in the industry.
He would go on to win numerous dance competitions, racking up rewards amounting to $60,000 before transitioning into songwriting and rapping. With musical influences like the late Michael Jackson, Tupac, MC Hammer, Nas, and Fabolous, he learned from some of the greatest artists to ever do it and it reflected in his storytelling prowess mixed with energetic dance music. His tracks are therapy sessions that detail his experiences through relationships and channels his past career as a dancer. Combined, they show the versatility of a rapper that can create soulful music along with music to turn up a dancefloor.
In time Booker Forte’ moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he continued to work on music like his upcoming single, “Iraqi.” The song enlists producer, Byrd Beatz, who has created beats for major artists like Bad Bunny and Polo G. “Iraqi” is a play on words and displays Booker Forte’ making magic with his smooth rap flow alongside the beautiful rhythmic vocals of Quincy. Together, they unite over the mesmerizing beat to create a song which will propel Booker Forte’ even higher.
