Mac Miller’s highly anticipated posthumous album, Balloonerism, is set to be released on January 17, 2025, just days before what would have been the rapper’s 33rd birthday. The estate of the late artist unveiled the official tracklist on January 7, revealing a collection of 14 tracks that includes notable collaborations and previously unreleased material.

Among the standout features is SZA, who lends her vocals to the track “DJ’s Chord Organ,” marking their first formal collaboration available on streaming platforms. Additionally, Miller’s alter ego, Delusional Thomas, will appear on the song “Transformations.” Other confirmed tracks include fan favorites such as “Funny Papers,” “Do You Have a Destination?” and “Tomorrow Will Never Know,” alongside new gems like “Shangri-La” and “Rick’s Piano.”

The album’s release comes after years of speculation and unofficial versions circulating online. According to Miller’s estate, Balloonerism was a project of significant importance to him, developed around the time of his 2014 mixtape Faces. The estate emphasized that Miller had commissioned artwork for the album and frequently expressed a desire to see it released.

In addition to the full album, fans can expect a pre-release single titled “5 Dollar Pony Rides,” which will debut on January 9 at 12 p.m. ET. This track is anticipated to provide insight into the creative direction of Balloonerism and further enrich Mac Miller’s legacy as an artist known for his introspective storytelling.

As excitement builds for this release, fans are eager to experience the depth and artistry that Balloonerism promises to deliver, adding another chapter to Mac Miller’s influential discography.
